Creamy, Delicious, and Healthy Vegan Chocolate Smoothie

Smoothies are basically a main food group in our house lol. They are an easy way to get a lot of healthy nutrients and vitamins in our toddlers belly’s, all while they get a sweet treat! This chocolaty, peanut butter smoothie is one of our family favorites that gets devoured within minutes of making. Let’s get blending:

I start by adding the oats to the blender along with the plant milk, cacao powder, and peanut butter powder. Any plant based milk will work in this recipe

Blend the oats, milk, cacao powder, and peanut butter powder until smooth, approximately 20-30 seconds. This step is important to get the oats well blended.

Then you add your frozen bananas and blend until smooth. I will typically blend this for a minute to give it that smooth and creamy consistency. You can always add ice, cacao nibs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, etc. to your taste/texture that you prefer. I will even add in my toddlers daily probiotic powder and vitamin D drops to their individual smoothies.

This recipe makes approximately 20 ounces or two toddler size cups.
