Easy and Refreshing 4 Ingredient Lavender Vanilla Syrup
This syrup is floral, calming, and just sweet enough — the perfect addition to your favorite cozy drink. I love pairing it with homemade iced lattes using my Nespresso Vertuo or my homemade iced cold brew coffees using my Cold Brew Coffee Maker for a calm, grounding start to the day.
If you enjoy subtle floral flavors like lavender and rose, you’ll love this! It’s quick to make, naturally soothing, and such a treat in coffee, tea, or even lemonade.
To make this amazingly simple, four ingredient syrup all you need to do is add the sugar, water, dried lavender and vanilla extract to a sauce pan and bring it to a simmer. Make sure you stir often so the sugar does not burn.
Simmer the mixture until all the sugar has dissolved. Once the sugar has dissolved remove the sauce pan from heat. I like to let the mixture cool for 10-15minutes and then add the vanilla extract.
Once all the ingredients are mixed together you will strain the mixture through a 100% organic cotton unbleached cheese cloth like this. Put this in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
I like to use a these pretty glass bottles with a pump dispenser to keep it easy and pretty. You can label it with the date and enjoy a splash each morning!
This syrup is especially dreamy in iced oat milk lattes, earl grey tea, or even sparkling water with lemon. If you’re making an afternoon pick-me-up, a little goes a long way.
